Sharron is the typical f-boy, wanting to hook up, not wanting anything serious. He decides Rhonda is the hottest girl and kisses her within 4 hours of meeting her.
Then they find out the rules of Too Hot To Handle, the reality show they’re on:
1) There’s a $100K prize
2) The whole group gets fined thousands of dollars if you kiss or fuck the other contestants
So there’s social pressure to not get physical.
They keep flirting but Sharron’s pretty closed off emotionally.
At first, it’s fun but then Rhonda gets restless and starts craving a deeper emotional connection.
So she starts talking to David and he even gets teared up with her when they do a soul gazing exercise together at one of the workshops.
Now Rhonda’s torn: with Sharron there’s fun and attraction but David is giving more emotional connection.
When Sharron sees that he might lose her, he realizes that he doesn’t want to and needs to be more honest. He shares that his ex-girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend, and he swore he’d never get hurt again. So he’s scared to open up and give his heart to Rhonda.
He also has trust issues from growing up in a broken home.
Everybody’s got a story that could break your heart…
And everyone needs support to break out of those old patterns. Even f-boys…
And even me… I haven’t done healing on a reality tv show (yet!) but finding somatic tools completely changed my life. It took me from:
-
-
- Clinging to romantic partners (which made them leave me)
- Perfectionism in my job which led to burnout
- And pushing away support and doing it all on my own
-
To a place where, finally after 15 years of failed dating, I have an amazing partner, have a career I’m obsessed with and friendships that mean the world to me.
And I’ve gotten to see how life changing somatic work has been with my clients.
Which is why I’m so bullish about the Advanced Somatic Certification. These tools completely changed my life and I want you to have them so you can apply them to your life and so you can go even deeper with your clients.
