I stopped running my certification which means for the past 10 months I’ve been promoting a program that no longer exists…
And I haven’t been promoting my one on one work very much, which is suddenly the main thing I offer.
I know it’s the best thing for my business in the long run but I also feel behind.
I watch the NBA sometimes and the best players are the ones that still play well even if they’re down 30 points at half time.
Most players give up psychologically. When I played in high school, I used to…
But I’ve decided in my business I wanna be like Steph Curry, unrattled by the scoreboard and playing my best even when things don’t look good.
And maybe you go on 3 great dates and then the person ghosts you.
Or you get passed up for a promotion that you thought you were going to get.
Or 3 clients quit unexpectedly.
It’s easy to give up.
Sometimes you need to take a break and grieve.
But if you wanna tie your shoelaces tight and play the best you can… here’s what’s been helping me:
1) Love Your Inner Child
Be kind to the part of you that feels totally rejected or hurt or scared or angry about what happened. Tell her or them, they can be mad or scared or hurt for as long as they need to be and that you love them even when they’re scared or sad or angry.
2) Reconnect to Your Why
Why do you want the promotion or the full client load or to find love?
Maybe you want to:

- send your kid to a private school that specializes in autism so you need more money
- help as many ppl as you can with this heart-centred somatic work you do
- fall in love and also you know deep down that your future partner is looking for you and wants a beautiful loving relationship too.

3) Ask Your Intuition
When you feel deeply connected to Your Why, ask you intuition: what bby steps can I take towards the promotion, to sign new clients or to find love?
And when you get scared or angry again, repeat steps 1 – 3… as many times as needed
