“Good Girls” vs “Bad Girls”

Growing up “bad girls” were:

  • Sluts
  • Did drugs
  • Dressed sexy
  • Were bad at school
  • Were mean
  • Loud
  • Opinionated
  • Angry
  • Motivated by money

“Good girls” were:

  • Nice
  • Pretty but not too pretty
  • Supportive
  • Quiet
  • Took care of everyone else
  • Were good at school
  • Soft
  • Good at cooking
  • Do everything for free and not be focused on money

These “rules” keep money, energy and power port of the hands of those of us socialized as women.
