Growing up “bad girls” were:
- Sluts
- Did drugs
- Dressed sexy
- Were bad at school
- Were mean
- Loud
- Opinionated
- Angry
- Motivated by money
“Good girls” were:
- Nice
- Pretty but not too pretty
- Supportive
- Quiet
- Took care of everyone else
- Were good at school
- Soft
- Good at cooking
- Do everything for free and not be focused on money
These “rules” keep money, energy and power port of the hands of those of us socialized as women.
