Begging vs Demanding vs Asking

Begging

  • Coming from a helpless energy
  • Feels draining to the other person
  • Secret demand
  • If you don’t help me, I can’t handle this (child/victim energy)
  • Fueled by fear/anger

Demanding

  • Aggressive
  • Controlling
  • Fueled by anger/fear
  • Feels scary to the other person
  • If you don’t help me, I’ll hurt you (child/victim energy)

Asking

  • No strings attached
  • Willing to be rejected
  • Vulnerable
  • Willing to ask others if this person says no
  • Adult energy: I know that I’ll get this need met by asking as many ppl as I need to until someone can happily say yes
  • Fueled by love

It’s your time to ask for what you need and receive support.

    – How to soak in the support

Location: 151 Sterling Rd, Toronto, ON M6R 2B2
