I make a mistake at work and I’m completely overcome by shame. My face turns red, my breath gets short and I feel nauseous. I get to the point where I’m so scared of making another mistake that it literally takes me an entire week to press send on an email. But somehow I survive and learn how to deal with my shame more easily.
