Gift Guide for Your Loved Ones with Anxiety

How are things going? Are you liking the snow?

I wanted to write to give you some support for shopping for anyone in your life who’s dealing with anxiety. The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time of year for anyone and especially for those dear ones with anxiety.

Also, if you yourself suffer from anxiety, feel free to forward this email along to someone who may be having some trouble shopping for you.

Gift Guide for Loved Ones with Anxiety

    1. Clean Healthy Yummy Food

Food and exercise play a crucial role in supporting mental health so think about prepping some ready to blend smoothie packs for her freezer or getting your loved one a gift certificate for a healthy restaurant nearby. Taking the pressure off having to cook can help your loved one take more time to take care of themselves.

    2. Love Warrior by Glennon Doyle

As you probably know by now, I’ve suffered from anxiety for many years and I have to tell you this book literally and completely changed my life. The author, Glennon, also suffers from anxiety but describes her journey is such a sweet and comical way that it made me feel less crazy and less alone. In this memoir Glennon tells her story of eating disorders, getting sober, learning to be a mother and what happens when she realizes her husband has been hiding something throughout their entire marriage.

One of my favourite books of all time. Your loved one will love it. You will love it. Please read this book.

    4. Beeswax Candles and Essential Oils

One amazing way to destress and relax is a hot bath with essential oils and candlelight. You can make your own spa kit for your loved one with your favourite essential oil and any other bath products that you love so that this person can give herself or himself permission to relax more often.

Little moments of self care can have a huge impact in the long run.

Sending you so much positive energy for these times when the sun goes to bed earlier and earlier. Let me know if you have any questions about any of the gifts in the gift guide.

Lots of love to you and yours,
Bryn
