Managing Anxiety Through Movement During Covid-19

We’re full swing into summer but things are not “back to normal” and it’s hard to know when they will be. With this uncertainty and everything happening in the world you might make you feel anxious about:

      • Your financial situation
      • Your loved ones
      • The virus
      • Racial injustice
      • Physical distancing with people you care about

Your anxiety makes sense and I want to help you work through it in a constructive way through movement, meditation, and self-reflection.

2020 is a year none of us expected. You’ve never done this before but you can learn proven techniques and skills developed to help people cope with anxiety.

And that’s exactly why I’ve partnered with Toronto Common to put on a low-cost workshop: Managing Anxiety Through Movement During Covid-19.

Toronto Common has always been about building community and experiencing something new, and while they’ve often gravitated towards food events in the past, as they navigate these changing times, they’ll be offering a wider variety of events online both to help connect and support their community. And so I’m super excited to have them as a partner.

In this workshop you’ll:

      • Share your fears and struggles and connect with others who are also navigating this challenging time.

      • Be led through an exercise that’ll help you to connect with your anxiety and begin to heal.

      • And learn tools and strategies that’ll help relieve your anxiety so you can connect to feelings of groundedness and joy even during these difficult times

We’ll be offering the workshop 3 times, one for female-identifying folks, one for male-identifying folks, and the last one that is open to everyone. And did I mention it’s only $10?

Here are the dates:

Female-Identifying and Non-Binary Only Workshop
Tue, August 11, 2020
7:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST
Tickets

Male-Identifying Only Workshop
Tue, August 25, 2020

Everyone Welcome Workshop
Sat, September 26, 2020

Come and get the support you need for these uncertain times.

And if you have any questions, hit reply to this email and I’ll be happy to get all your questions answered.

Take good care,
Bryn

  1. How wonderful looking, Bryn! I’d like to hear how it goes… perhaps put something on Radhaweb if you’re using Yasodhara based practices. OM OM & Light, Gauri
