Masturbation

Masturbation helps me get out of fight/flight/freeze and into a more grounded space.

I’ve started using it as a tool before writing posts, running webinars, and having difficult conversations if I’m a little ungrounded.

Scientifically, you can’t be turned on and in fight or flight at the same time. When you’re turned on, you switch the hormones your body is producing.

When I was really struggling with FIGHT or FLIGHT related to being late, if I could find someone on the bus that I was attracted to and look at them, it would release oxytocin and I’d shift into the rest and relax state.

This might work for you too.

And depending on your history with sexual trauma, it might not.

The good news is there are many ways to complete the stress cycle:

      • Exercise
      • Doing a creative project
      • Deep breathing
      • Or even watching a tv show with a happy ending because you mirror the emotional cycle of the main character

And masturbation is one that works really well for me.

Learn the best way for YOU to complete the stress cycle and start doing it on a regular basis so you can spend more time in a relaxed state and have more access to your creative genius.

You got this,

Bryn

PS If you have a sense that being in a stressed state is what’s holding you back from achieving your dreams, I can help.

This is the exact work I do with clients that’s led to them:

      • Make more money in their sacred businesses
      • Fall in love
      • And go to bed at night feeling proud of what they’ve accomplished

If you’re still reading, I want to offer you a free one-hour consultation where we’ll look at how your stress is impacting the amount of energy you have to pursue your dreams and what can help.
