We don’t talk about failing at our money goals enough.
I tried to make $10k cash in 10 days but ended up earning only $3k.
Here’s what I’m learning:
- Nothing Has Gone Wrong
When you first learn to ride a bike you usually fall off. Since this was my first time at $10k in 10 days, it makes sense that I failed.Making money is like any skill, it takes practice. When I tried to make $5k in 30 days, I failed for 3 months in a row. But then I hit it and now I consistently make it.
This is how you learn.
- Hustle Isn’t the Answer
When I was on day 7 and only at $2.5k my brain wanted to either:
– Give up
– Or HUSTLE: post a million “How To” posts! Post in a million groups! But when I prayed, I got the answer: tell ppl your goal & how they can support you.
My brain responded:
“Everyones going to think you’re a greedy bitch.”
“No one gives a fuck about your money goal.”
“Who do you think you are?”
But I told people and was deeply moved by the response. Strangers who I’d never met shared my posts, commented to cheer me on, sent me DMs, and even referred me clients.
This supports my business to help even more people and create more money even though I didn’t hit the goal this time 💚.
- Keep Going
Yes, I had a pity party and thought “I suck and I’m never going to succeed and I’m going to end up homeless” for a moment. Then I was kind to the young part of me who’s scared and tuned back into my higher self to decide what to do.
I’m going to keep the clock running and see how many days it takes me to make $10k cash. I’m on day 14 and still under $5k so focusing on building my belief in myself.
It sucks to fall off your bike and scrape your knee.
But life’s more fun if you let yourself cry for a minute, put on a bandaid and then get back on that bike.
If you’ve failed at a money goal, nothing has gone wrong.
This is exactly how you learn by trying, failing and trying again.
Sending positive energy for your goals!!
