The Fuck Up Festival

I’ve declared today, Dec 11th, the National Celebration of Fucking Up.

Where you celebrate making mistakes and failing fast to help you learn and grow.

You were taught in school that failure was a bad thing. If you got an F on a test it meant you were stupid.

But in the real world, fucking up is required on the way to learning any new skill.

Wanna learn to ski? You’re going to spend a bunch of time on your ass.

Wanna learn Spanish? You’re going to sound like a 5-year-old.

Wanna learn to code? You’re going to fuck up the whole app.

And then from these failures, you learn and grow.

Getting out there on the slopes and falling down, is going to teach you WAY MORE than reading 1000 books on how to ski.

Failure is the fastest way to improve.

So, this blog post is the fuck up festival. Comment and share a mistake you’ve made and we’re all going to CELEBRATE YOU!!!

Failure needs to be destigmitized because being scared to fail is what’s actually holding you back from:

      • meeting the love(s) of your life
      • making the amount of money you’re meant for
      • changing your relationship with chronic pain
      • being proud of yourself as a parent
      • or wtv your dream is

When someone is learning to speak French, the more mistakes they’re making indicates that they’re trying new kinds of sentences and verbs and are going to really be improving…

Compared to someone who just says, “Bonjour, comment ca va?” again and again. They say it near perfectly but they aren’t learning and growing.

The more you’re failing, the sooner your skills will improve and you’ll be able to achieve your goal.

Get it!!
