I was going to write about healthy boundaries today but I was so inspired by the events of this past weekend, I had to write about this. [Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing even more about healthy boundaries next week!]

Where were you when you heard that the election was over? (Seriously hit email me at bryn@brynbamber.com and tell me!! I want to hear your stories and I’ll probably cry all over again hearing what happened for you!)

And keep reading to hear where I was!

I was alone in my room working and I opened Instagram and saw a post that said:

“Crossing over 270 votes Joe Biden is the 46th president of the United States. Kamala Harris, the Vice President elect, is the first woman to hold this office. The First Black Woman to hold this office of Indian and Jamaican descent. #BidenHarris2020

I Googled it to double check.  And then I started to cry.

I didn’t realize I was holding my breath until that moment when I finally took a deep breath in.

And even though I don’t live in America, the racism and bigotry spread by Trump has impacted my country (Canada!) and my own psyche.

This new chapter gives me hope. Kamala Harris once said, “If anyone ever gets in your way and tells you not follow your dreams – because of your age or because of your gender or what you look like or where you come from – don’t listen. Do not be burdened by what has been when you can create what should be.”

And I want to take this into your heart. And I want you to consider that in addition to those outside voices, what if the person who’s told you that you can’t do it the most is the voice in your head?

What have you NEVER done but want to? What is your impossible dream?

Harris is showing us that anything is possible. That a woman of Indian and Jamaican descent can be one of the leaders of the most powerful country in the world.

What did you think was impossible last week that now you’re ready to dream into? And are you ready to take a baby step towards that dream?

Saying your impossible goal out loud and making a plan about how to achieve it is the most important first step. So if you’re ready to do that, let’s hop on the phone and we’ll look at where you are now, where you want to be and see if working together could be the support you and give you the accountability you need to bring this goal to life.

My clients find that they’re able to connect to their intuition more deeply and take steps towards the life that they want when we work together, so if that could be a supportive for your dream please reach out.

And I want to say, that if intuitively at the end of the call you feel like it’s not the right fit, I’ll 100% support you. And you’ll still get to walk away having explored your impossible goal and what’s going to help you get there. So there’s literally no risk and all value for you :).
