If you’ve been considering apply for the scholarship, I want you to make the best decision for yourself, so I’ve come up with 5 reasons you SHOULDN’T apply:
-
- Because You’re Rich AF
Investing the $6000 CDN for the 6 month one on one program will not significantly impact your finances, so you don’t need the scholarship - You’re Too Prideful
The 50% scholarship would really help, BUT you’re too prideful to accept it. You judge yourself and feel you SHOULD be able to do it without help. If you’re not willing to question those beliefs and accept help, then it’s not for you. - You Don’t Believe in DEI Initiatives
This scholarship was created to help folks socialized as women, folks with disabilities, people of colour who’ve been affected financially by systems of oppression. If you don’t believe that systems of oppression exist, this probably isn’t for you. - You Hate Spirituality
I lived at Yasodhara Ashram for 2 years, which is part of the Sivananda Lineage from Rishikesh, India. These teachings of yoga heavily inform the work I do with clients. If you hate the mere mention of intuition and inner wisdom, this one on one work is probably not for you.
- You Don’t Want to Explore Past Traumas
So much of what is holding you back from your current goal is past traumas. For example, if you’re having trouble getting over a break up, it might be because you didn’t receive unconditional love from your father and so the break up is reigniting old traumatic neural pathways that tell you you’re unlovable.
If you believe this is a crock of shit, don’t apply.
- Because You’re Rich AF
