breath
expands
my heart

making it possible
for me to step out of
self pity
and into
myself

you stand in my way
blocking where I want to go

stop
getting in between me
and my life.

ripples through the crowd
we breathe

only a great
can create
such a feeling

1000 hearts flutter
then grow quiet.

I bask
in the afternoon
sun

held
even though I’m alone on the beach

sun warming back
freedom

slither
slender
snake
bite.

don’t take chances
be afraid

be alone,
never leave your house.

covered in frogs
make me sick.

what is this holiday?

I thought I had someone to cuddle this winter,
but I don’t.

stare at me
eyes wide open
grinning

what do you know that I do not?

freedom

I go out alone
strong and free

alone on the ocean
I find myself.

pathway
from short of breath
to heaven.

same colors as my mind
directed
flowing
in bloom

caring
for all.
